Meet Dr. Kaffer
Dr. Jessica Kaffer, PsyD, PMH-C is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and proud mom to three little girls. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University and went on to create and lead an intensive outpatient program for military members during her postdoctoral residency. Dr. Kaffer has also taught graduate-level courses and serves as a certified clinical supervisor through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health.
Early in her career, Dr. Kaffer focused on trauma treatment for first responders and members of the armed forces. But after becoming a mother herself and navigating the challenges of pregnancy and postpartum, her passion shifted. She saw how little support was available to moms and felt called to change that. Today, she specializes in maternal mental health—supporting women through the transitions of motherhood with compassion, expertise, and a deep understanding of what it means to care for others while also caring for yourself.
Dr. Kaffer is the founder and owner of a virtual group practice where she provides therapy to women across the country. She holds the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) through PSYPACT, allowing her to offer care across state lines and maintain continuity for the many moms who need support wherever life takes them.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Kaffer is a speaker and educator passionate about reshaping the conversation around motherhood and mental health. Her message is simple but powerful: you don’t have to sacrifice yourself to care for your family—it’s not about saying “me first,” it’s about saying “me too.”
Dr. Kaffer accepts private pay, Tricare (East and West), and Aetna.
